The Application process

2023 Application Process

We want to get to know you and want you to get to know us too!

These steps allow exactly that and allow you to get a feel for the course as well as the team - we want your experience with EKA to be fun and fulfilling as well as giving you a brand new skill!

Stage One:

After reading through all of the information provided, you will have a good idea of which course will suit you best.

and email the completed version to edinburghkiltmakersacademy@gmail.com

or 

Submit by post to the postal address provided at the bottom of the page.

Stage Two:

We will hold Application Appointments on either a one-to-one or small group basis.

Please allow a couple of hours for these informal interviews where you will learn a little more about EKA, tell us about yourself and ask any questions you have. 

This appointment will include a short sewing skills test.

Stage Three:

We will then reach out to you based on stage two, to discuss offering you a place on the course! At this point deposit and payment plans will be discussed with you privately in more detail. The deposit for the Full Course will then be required to secure your acceptance of your place.
